Mission News

March: NEW! A small food pantry has been set up in the hallway to the fellowship hall. This is, for now, setup to assist anyone in our congregation that may need this food. There will be plastic bags on the side for you to help yourself. We do not need to know who is using it, it is only our hope that it helps.

To make this get started and continue to work, we ask that when you are shopping pick up an extra item or two, especially when it is on sale, and bring it to church. There will be a basket in the front of the church and in the fellowship hall.

Here is a list of items that are recommended. Please try to stick with this list, so we know that there are items for a balanced meal.

1    Tuna Fish (water preferred)
2    Peanut butter
3    Powder Milk (containing individual package is preferred )
4    Pasta
5    Spaghetti Sauce
6    Kool Aid / Lemonade Powder
7    Soup
8    Canned Vegetable / Fruit
9    Macaroni and Cheese
10    Oatmeal
11    Cereal
12    Bottled Juice ( Apple / Grape)

Important Reminders

Alternative for Battered Women continues to be in need of sheets, blankets, and towels. Please see any member of the Missions Team if you wish to donate these items.

Mission Ministries Goals

In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we will provide food for the hungry, comfort for the stranger, clothes for the naked and to provide assistance to those in need based upon Matthew 25: 35-40. We will seek in help these individuals equally by supporting local, regional and
global projects based upon the talents God has given us.
