Missions Ministries
- 10 Samaritan shoe boxes were collected and given to the Franklin Graham Mission Program
- 11 SWEM Baskets were collected (one was given out from the church).
- A Welcome Back card and gift was given to a local soldier back from Afghanistan.
- $180.00 was given back to the Youth Group for their seed money for The Water for the Sudan Challenge.
- $100.00 was given to the Youth Group to match the money that they raised during Shanty Town. The monies go to the local Habitat for Humanity Program.
- Food and Christmas presents were given to a family who called the church for support. She has 4 boys. Money and clothes were given from the church family. The difference of $23.00 came from the Mission Fund.
In the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we will provide food for the hungry, comfort for the stranger, clothes for the naked and to provide assistance to those in need based upon Matthew 25: 35-40. We will seek in help these individuals equally by supporting local, regional and
global projects based upon the talents God has given us.
Each month, our church takes on a different missions project. Some of the projects we have been involved with include:
- providing clothing for the Open Door Mission
- holding a recognition dinner for area Veterans.
- participating in the S.W.E.M. food cupboard.
- participating in the Church World Service Blankets.
- Samaritan's Purse.
